Yes, we had a fun time. Penny had lots of smiles for us. If she also smiled at 5 a. m., we were not around to appreciate it, but she had enough left over for the rest of the day.
Marge and Harry had a safe flight home to chilly NJ weather, but our adopted cat Lily was glad to see us and is demanding strokes across the back--you know, where the cat luxuriously bends beneath your hand, for ever and ever. Kind of like Penny, but Penny is more rewarding.
